Lets talk about this. Our offense. I think it's getting real. I never bought into the "Cam sucks" foolishness. It seemed pretty obvious to me that he was a good coordinator when he had a good QB like any NFL coordinator and also we should have all anticipated and been patient with the adjustments on both ends(college players learning his style, him learning highschool/college players)...with that said, it appears He and Les Miles have been right all along. They knew how to bring their QB along and are adjusting well....now, lets look at how fun this can be.
1. We play Bama in 3 weeks. If anyone can figure out how to pick apart a Saban Defense(which will likely continue to be extremely dominant for years to come)...wouldn't it be a true NFL offensive mind with experience? Match that with an underappreciated QB who has a chip on his shoulder and a very high ceiling...hmmm... this could start to look very good for us even this year. I think we may beat them by 10+ if we don't penalize ourselves....then take the time to imagine what next year will look like with w JR QB who may end up on a Heisman watchlist, mature JR WRs, another dominatant line and LF7...next year's offense will be likely one of the best we've EVER seen at LSU and will make those high flying TCU /Baylor offense look silly bc we can also run. That's dominance guys.
2. Consider these facts. A. Is this possibly the best era of LSU football ever? B. Not only that but this seems to be an amazing College football era anyway. No I'm not a Saban Lover but I'm real. He is one of the best college football coaches probably ever...and we have a legitimate rivalry with him. C. We have more 10 win seasons in the past 10 years than______ we can fill in the blank. D. Jim Harbough....wow...could be better than Saban. E. We just beat Spurrer so badly that he quit....immediately...let that sink in. E. LF7...
If we don't win another game this year has been amazing(I'd be very upset) but still...just wow. We could POSSIBLY go undefeated. Although I wouldn't be surprised if something crazy happened like BAMA beating us, Both of us ending up in the playoffs and we do to them what they did to us 4 years ago... this season is just setting up so amazingly...if nothing else the ride is fun!
