Now hat LK is out of the running, let me just make the following observations:
obviously, this will be the most important hire of the CEO regime. Lets face it, he knows he needs a great OC and needs to nail it.
Having said that, what great OC would not like to come to LSU to coach. CEO should basically be able to get just about anyone he wants.
Nowhere will the new OC get paid as much than if he come here
Nowhere else where he should have more freedom as the OC than if he comes here.
Very few places where the talent level on offense will equal what he can get here.
In short its the best place for an OC to want to come.
having said that, the only OC's that would not want to come would be Helfrich at Oklahoma, and possibly a few others that may be truly tied to their HC. Outside of that CEO should have his pick..
so, before anymore bashing and the infamous "deer in the headlight look", that many have been getting since CEO was hired, lets just stop, take a deep breath and see who CEO comes up with and lets get behind the hire.
as I said earlier, he should literally have the pick of the litter.
