gents, outside of the SEC college football has lost some of it's luster due to SEC dominance and many traditional powers outside of the southeastern U.S. no longer winning Championships (Nebraska, Notre Dame, USC, Michigan, Penn State, Washington, Colorado, Carlisle Indian School, etc). I don't include Miami and Free Shoes here cause even though they have gone in the crapper, they are still in our neck of the woods.

I'm not gonna lie, even I'm getting a little bored with hearing the same teams every year. except us...

my point is, the new PAC12 commissioner wants to add two schools. schools being considered include Boise, UNLV, Nevada, San Diego State, and BYU.

I was thinking, Vegas now has football and hockey, an insane new stadium, the Oakland A's might move there, and they are gonna start hosting bowls, Super Bowls, and maybe CFP games. could be the next sports powerhouse. like the Tark days when I was at LSU. and the natural fit is Reno comes along for the ride.

don't think it could happen? When Miami won their first National Championship in 1983, they were literally discussing de-emphasizing sports that year and going to Division III like Sewanee did.

and Vegas would be pretty appealing to 18 year old recruits.

just food for thought and could be a fun discussion. thoughts...
