Hi
Guys, I have never posted before, however, I have just returned from a trip to New York city and thought I
would share my experience with you. I did wear LSU shirts on a few different occasions. Walking down
the Avenue of Americas on three different occasion I got a Geaux Tigers by people passing by and on 5th Avenue I received a few Geaux Tigers.

I also went to the Top of the Rock and when I got off the elevator the gentleman by the elevator pointed to my shirt and said "That's were Shaq went!". The person that is there to help you with locations of certain building also ask if the Tigers were going to have a good year. He and I had a nice conversation about the Tigers(the hell with the view).

Also when I went to Starbucks in Rockerfeller Center the attendant started talking to me about LSU and jokingly said I guess you are not an Alabama fan. However, he did not ask me for my name to put on the cup and just put LSU.

Now the nicest thing that happened is when I went to Legends to eat. I was sitting at the bar waiting for my son and Neil(I take the owner) came over and started talking about the LSU and I learned several things about Legends and that his daughter went to LSU because of the bar and the alumni that come there. But when he left the bartender came over and said the next round was on him. Now that is what I call a Tiger fan.

There were several other occasions at the hotel (in Brooklyn) when people started talking to me about the Tigers and had good conversations with them, and these people where not from La.

I could not have felt more at home except for Tiger Stadium. Just wanted to let you know that my experience show how strong the LSU brand is, and most likely you could go to other cities and have the same type of experiences.
