One reason Brandon Harris is so effective is because of his arm strength. He just flicks the ball and he's throwing a missile. This is important because it allows him to make many throws that get to the receiver before the DB has time to recover. If you notice, even on long throws he doesn't put a lot of air underneath the ball. He pretty much throws a dart. This can pay big dividends against a defense the likes of Alabama.
Anthony Jennings cannot make these same throws and if he's not careful the DB can close on the ball and bat it down or intercept it. This also helps explain many of the drops receivers have been plagued with when trying to catch Harris passes. John Elway had the same problem. Brandon Harris just has a cannon and as he learns when to take a little off his passes, the sky is the limit for him.
