Well, I’m not quite there but I might be soon. It has been a tough week…
I’m not talking about that ass whippin’ in Tuscaloosa. I’m talking about 3 awful things that have hit all of us this week.
First, one of our own (03-07) had his Sister In Law suffer a life threatening injury in an ATV accident. Michelle Peavy, to the best of my current knowledge, is clinging to life. Many of us are offering prayers for her healing and recovery.
Mid-week we learned that one of the truly great musicians in all of New Orleans’ history, Allen Toussaint, had suddenly passed away while on Tour in Europe. If you never saw him perform or know of his music, just google him and you will recognize most of his work. A great loss for Louisiana.
And tonight we see terrorists attacking Paris, France. At least 60 killed. This is an attack against all of us. I vacillate between rage and loathing for these MF’s.
I do not have a twitter or facebook account. I do not even know any of you who read this. But I do share a bond with you that leads me to say: IT HAS BEEN A TOUGH WEEK.
