of course every college team wants their assistants to be excellent coaches as well as excellent recruiters . In the real world this isn't often the case . So head coaches try to find the best balance .
Most coordinators aren't expected to be GREAT recruiters but must be great coaches .

If your coordinator happens to be a dynamic recruiter it's a real bonus . Will Aranda be a better recruiter than Chavis . Let's hope so.

Typically when hiring assistants to coach WRs, TEs STs and RBs they are looking for " great recruiters first and foremost . Those are often young aggressive go getters trying to make a name for themselves on the recruiting trail .

In reviewing the LSU assistants at this positions here's my take

WRs . Daymon Craig has made his mark as a recruiter landing 3 top WR prospects and 2 Ala,
,, DL in his territory . I expect him to do even better once he develops relations with La high
school coaches

RBs . Jabar Juluke . Frank Wilson II IMO . His NO connections are as strong as Frank's were .
future recruiting coordinator who can follow Wilson's career path .

STs . Bradley Dale Peveto . One adjective : Dynamo. This is our Texas recruiting machine . For all
of the criticism of his STs in 2015 no one cannot agree that he's one of out very best
recruiters

TEs. STeve Ensminger . Supposedly is an invaluable asset in many ways aside from recruiting .
TE coach should be the ACE recruiter and is in many cases
