no matter how you slcie it, LSU had a big win vs TT last night. They are certainly not a top tier SEC team, but their Offense is wicked good and they did beat Arky and should have beat TCU.
It also loolked good for recruits.
My thoughts:
1. D was ready and I though t was Steeles best game plan so far. I would promte O to DC now. His DL got better this year and last night was relentless.
2. I still dont get why we cant kick off in the EZ. We gave them good FP all night.
3. The O overpowered TT which we knew would happen but there were SO many times we could have taken advantage of them loading 10 in the box and when we did it was beautiful.
4. When we opened it up it loosened TT D up and thats how its supposed to work.My bibbest beef is that we go deep way too much. We got athletes and they make plays but underneath stuff was open all night.
5. BH can get better....Can CC do it? I think so becayse when BH gets ina rhythm he is good. I also like CC on the sideline.
6. Steele leaving to AU is dumb on his part. Make Ed O the DC now.
If we dont have too many juniors leave we could be a contender in 2016.
7. But as Jesse Palmer pointed out, one high powered offense in the last 7 years is not acceptable with theNFL talent we have. He stated that he thought Les deserved one more year to fix it. Maybe so but he damn well has to fix it. I hope he gives CC his balls back and lets him get out of 1970......
