It's not just the question of which quarterback can the staff become a player with at this late juncture for the Class of 2016, but also who can they attract for 2017. Not just any quarterbacks either. Quarterbacks that actually have the ability to compete and play in the SEC.

Like i posted, Within 45 minutes of the news breaking that Les Miles would return as coach, how can you effectively recruit when everyone views 2017 as, "win or it's over"?

Of course, we don't know what "win" is anymore. That will be the question Alleva and Les Miles get all spring , summer and fall. "How many wins does Les Miles need next season to coach at LSU in 2017?"

Quarterback prospects drop like dominoes in spring and summer. One guy picks and then by August most of them have decided. In LSU's case, the top QB in Louisiana for 2017 Lowell Narcisse of St. James has already committed to Auburn. What is going make his situation interesting is that Gus Malzahn is on a serious hot seat next season also.

What do you think opposing coaches will be saying in the homes of LSU recruiting targets at all positions the day after Tiger coaches are there for the next two months? It's such an easy play for them.

Easy for them, unfortunate for the Tiger coaching staff.
