Many believe Rummel's Logan Diggs could be the 2nd RB in LSU's 2021 class if the Tigers don't hit with some of their other big targets and Diggs is definitely open to LSU but it didn't sound like he was open to being their last option.
He said he wants to commit before his senior season, which we still don't know when that will start, and he'll commit "with or without an LSU offer." Communication with LSU has picked up recently though.

Rummel 2021 running back Logan Diggs has scholarship offers from schools all across the country.
Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Houston, SMU, Vanderbilt and Tulane are just a few of his offers.
But in-state powerhouse LSU has also been keeping tabs on Diggs.
He talks to LSU staffers multiple times a week, but currently does not have an offer. The 6-foot, 192-pounder plans on being committed within the next month or two, "with or without an LSU offer," he told TigerDetails recently.
Throughout quarantine, LSU running backs coach Kevin Faulk has kept in contact with Diggs, but the communication has increased more recently.
"They talk to me like two or three times a week coach Kevin Faulk calls me and we just chop it up about how football is going. I talk to Coach O maybe once a week. It's picked up actually. We usually would communicate once a week but now it's more consistent," he said.
When asked about a potential offer from LSU, Diggs said: "Coach Kevin tells me he really wants me and he wants me to keep hanging in there with him. I feel like (an offer) could possibly come because coach Kevin is really pursuing me heavy. I would assume that maybe it will come."
Right now, Diggs said, USC, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Arizona State have been standing out and talking to him the most.
Diggs is an all-purpose back for the Rummel Raiders. In 2019, he racked up 924 yards in 13 games at 5.6 yards per carry and scored five touchdowns. He also had 26 catches for 186 yards and four touchdowns as a wide receiver, according to his stats on MaxPreps.
