after the brilliant performance v Auburn the LSU OL is about to get much much better.
... TWO freshmen playing. Clapp playing only his 2nd game . He played Center for most of the Spring and Fall. Now he's adjusting to OG . The kid's athletic and smart. He'll improve greatly by mid season.
... Big T . Has played ONE game as a starter . That's right ONE game. How much better will he become as this season progresses? By season's end I predict that he will be a Freshman All-American.
.... Vidal,Alexander . SEC OL of the week . Let's not forget that he hasn't played OT in 3 years. So this is a new position for him . Once he really gets used to the speed of SEC DEs he'll become All-SEC OL and a high draft pick ( are you listening Hawkins and Ethan). He 's got to improve .
..... Jerald Hawkins . Like Vidal he's also playing a new position . Moving from Right to left OT is a big deal.Chris has played only 2 games at this tough position . No where to go but up .
....Ethan Pocic . SEC OL of the week v Miss St . He's the only one that has little room to improve but he's already pretty darn good .
Of course the overall chemistry is bound to improve once Big T and Clapp settle in.
