the 2016 schedule has LSU traveling to Arkansas the week after the Alabama game .
The Tigers then return home to square off against South Alabama.
We all know that that the big Alabama contest leaves both teams emotionally and physically spent. A road trip to often icy , cold Northern Arkansas the week after can be a challenging proposition .
Perhaps the South Alabama game could have been switched with a Arkansas date in order to better balance the schedule .
I know that the SEC office makes the schedule for conference games but teams do have some say so as well .
Any thoughts ?
