For years I have somewhat SMH over what I would consider small linebackers brought onboard by LSU. My definition (and perhaps mine alone) of small is 6'1" 210 lbs or less. But man, over the last few years, guys like Debo, Duke, etc. have really changed my thinking. Are these guys aberrations or what? Duke sure thumped some big boys this year. Or, has our defense evolved to where these guys are a better fit? And yes, I understand that weight was added between signing day and present day, but still not like bringing in a 240 lb White or Beckwith.
