For all the improvement that we've seen out of Brandon Harris and how exciting that is, we have to be a little realistic when it comes to just who he's facing this weekend.

Alabama leads the conference in pass efficiency defense, giving up 51% completion percentage, 5.5 yards per attempt and have 12 interceptions - all tops in the SEC. Now, it has to be said that when you factor in SEC play only, they don't lead in any of those categories but certainly still fare well.

What about when Fournette has the ball? Alabama leads the SEC in rush yards per game and rush yards per carry. That's sobering. Interestingly, when you factor in only conference play they drop there as well. Who takes the #1 spot in both categories? That'd be LSU.

Point being that this defense we're going to be facing is very, very good and they're playing at home with the crowd behind them. LSU could well do everything right and still leave Tuscaloosa with a loss... but as a fan of college football you gotta love this game no matter what.
