...more than usual was how strong Booger and Marcus Spears are for LSU recruiting. Sure, every kid want to make millions in the league and some eventually will, and when we see those guys on Sundays make a big play here or there that's great. But we see Booger and Spears almost daily on television, see them in a suit, well-spoken, educated, respected... for recruits and most especially for family members, THAT is what their futures are at LSU. That is what waits for them beyond football, those are the kinds of men LSU is producing.
I'm incredibly proud of the way those guys represent LSU, not by talking us up, but by setting an example that every young man would want to follow, by showing a future that every young man's family would want for him. Its bigger than we realize.
