just heard the Fla St. S&C coach, Vic Valoria , interview . He specifically attributed having bigger players on the roster to recruiting bigger player . He went on to say that recruiting big highschool kids makes his job much easier .
After watching the Alabama and LSU players side by side and knowing Saban's emphasis on recruiting jumbo linemen and LBs what Valoria noted makes sense. LSU seems to bring in 205 Lb LBs , 250 Lb linemen in hopes of bulking them up to the necessary size.
Oh Valoria could well be traveling to Baton Rouge in the future.
