Flau'jae commits a foul out of frustration on MiLaysia Fulwiley - not a flagrant foul or even a hard one, just a foul... then Ashlyn Watkins (sporting a full mustache, btw) runs up and jumps in Flau'jae's face to trash talk her. Flau'jae throws up her arms to push her away, trying to get past her and back to the bench. That prompts Kamilla Cardoso to come flying in out of nowhere and just clocks Flau'jae, slamming her to the ground. Just trash from start to finish.

Flau'jae's brother comes out of the stands and jumps the scorer's table to try and get involved but is quickly whisked away by security (good job by that crew, btw, because the rest of the family was coming too). Both benches clear briefly while the coaches regain control.

On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being a normal foul and 10 being a straight-up sucker-punch):

Flau'jae's initial foul: 2
Ashlyn Watkins taunting: 3
Flau'jae's push: 4
Kamilla's cold-cock: 9

Flau'jae got hit with an intentional foul, Kamilla got DQ'd and both benches were ejected for leaving the bench, forcing each team to play with five on five. All of that seems like a reasonable response, but I'm kinda curious how USC gets 5 players on the floor if the entire bench gets ejected AND one of their players on the floor is DQ'd - anybody got anything on that?

Play resumes with USC 73, LSU 66 and 2:08 left on the clock.

EDIT: Apparently one USC player technically never left the bench 'area' (by a few inches after being pulled back by an assistant coach), so she's allowed to sub in for the disqualified player. Another USC player was at the scorer's table waiting to sub in, so she was allowed to stay as well.
