For those that are wondering, UCLA made a last ditch effort late last night to get Canada to reconsider, and to come coach Josh Rosen (the presumed #1 overall pick in the 2018 draft) in his final year in Westwood. Canada never budged. He was sold on the athletes in BR and the full, free reign Coach O would give him to run his offense at LSU. Not to mention the $1M+ annual salary.
But Mora did make it interesting in the last hour.
Oh, and do not think for one second Keytaon is out of play. He's wanted LSU from day 1, but Les and CamCam never had any interest. It may very well be too late, as he's an EE, but Canada wants him (along with Brennan, who will recommit shortly) very badly.
LSU now has the best set of coordinators in the country. Coach O has a ton to sell, and this class will finish insanely strong. January will be gangbusters. Buckle up.
