When LF made the statement on national TV the he was auctioning his Jersey, I think his heart was totally in it. But, I think it was a mistake, and Miles should have caught it, instead of signing a helmet.
I thought it was great for the most part, at the time, but something still didn't feel right about it.
I think he self-placed himself into a higher tier that made it seem as though he was suggesting that was above everyone else. The season was much too young for that, and he should have remained humble. But, for some reason, under this coach, we have a history of players who want to brag about their talent, during the middle of the season. (Patrick being one of them)
He has not been the same since that night, nor has any player on our team. And our opponents even seem to yearn to stop him more-so.
