the more chance of losing recruits like Cam Akers, DeVonta Smith and D'Andre Johnson.

By this time I'm certain that Coach Orgeron knows that Kiffin is finalizing his deal with Houston, or at least he had better know, it seems everybody else in America knows.

Lincoln Riley interviewed for the Houston head coaching job, a job he didn't finish in the running for. He's a great young offensive mind that is worthy of a hefty pay increase and a coach that will put the offense totally in his hands, both of which will be his at LSU.

Mark Helfrich is campaigning for the LSU OC position. He may not have any recruiting contacts in the deep south, but he is an outstanding offensive mind. The Tigers have a lot of great recruiters on staff, led by Ed Orgeron, they need someone who can run a great balanced offensive attack and develop quarterbacks. Recruits will pay attention to the fact that Helfrich both recruited and developed Heisman trophy winner Marcus Mariota.

There's some great choices available for Ed Orgeron to choose from, seal the deal with our new OC and let him begin making some calls to recruits before the dead period begins.
