Amazing to me someone who arrived in Tiger Town w/o a scholarship could have such an impact on the offensive machine...with his knee injury.... the Heisman Favorite has found it found much tougher to get those game breaking yards
J.D. "The Flashlight" Moore wrecked havoc on the scene from the get-go early in the season! After the first few games prompting Fournette being "surprised and they are better than we thought they were"...w/o naming names; we figured he was talking about Moore....(& maybe the young freshman Guards Clapp/Tuehema too)
While we look forward to Future 4 & 5 Star highly prized HS Recruits coming to LSU....you just never know if there is also another "Future" Walk-on waiting in the shadows to do his thing to take the Tigers to another level!
Had a sick feeling during at that So Carolina game with the 42,000 in the stadium that Moore's injury would throw a serious kink in the armour....but not exactly like this!
LSU is good enough to beat most teams w/o 300lb Blocking TE Dillon Gordon...just not Bama & Arkansas when you add J.D Moore to the mix
NOT making excuses....it's a shame the next man did not step up...& the drop-off in run blocking is that significant...but it is
