The way I look at LSU's remaining daunting schedule

Alabama - I never liked LSU playing a big game after an Open Date because historically they haven't played well. In recent years Alabama has also had an Open Date which gives me mild comfort. An Open Date is good for resting players but its not good for staying sharp. I'm thinking LSU pulls out a close game 30-27. LSU doesn't lead until their final score.

Arkansas - physical and emotional game against Ole Miss the week before. It's hard to carry high emotion from week to week. Hopefully Ole Miss takes something out of the Hogs. Never comfy playing Arkansas as they are always physical. LSU wins by 10.

Ole Miss - has an open date. I never like LSU playing a big game after an open date. I would rather LSU's position over Ole Miss' position in the schedule. Hopefully Ole Miss comes out sloppy early against LSU.
LSU wins by 10.

Texas A&M - plays Vanderbilt the week before LSU. If there is a game that would be easy to trip up this is it. I think LSU has no problem getting emotionally ready for A&M and wins this game. Some games don't require external factors to get LSU pumped up. A&M is one of those games.
LSU wins by 14.

I think this LSU team has potential to be very good. I'll cross my fingers
