changes that occurred and events last year,I think LSU played well. No one is referencing Steel and Orgeron but I thought the defense played excellent. Orgeron's line had 3 sacks in the first game and much better pressure. I thought the linebackers and defensive backs were excellent.

Regarding the offense, I thought the first half it was excellent. Harris was starting his second game in his young career in a foreign hostile environment. The offense was much more opened up. We lost 2 touchdowns to penalties which one was highly questionable.

The second half ,I was disappointed that Miles got so conservative. But he did not want to put Harris in a position to fail.Start throwing interceptions in a close game and that is not good for a young quarterback.

Auburn almost got beat yesterday to a non-SEC foe. Miss.St is a good team and well coached. Most importantly, they have the most experienced and probably the best q/b in the SEC.

I like LSU's screens wide out, but the receivers coach has to get better blocking to open that play up- a favorite of Alabama.

Harris impressed me overall. He has a canon, quick release, and can run. He will only get better if he continues to work hard.

For all the nega., just remember it was his 2nd game. and aginst another SEC rival.
