so I have a question to pose on Tyler Shelvin opting out.
LSU coaching staff was patient, worked with him to get in shape and lose weight. This was an ongoing saga. Is he right or wrong for opting out? He plays at a position with relatively low long term injury risk potential. We know he has a problem keeping bad weight off so being outside of the regimented team setting could be bad for him. Could he have shown his versatility playing in the 4-3? The others I believe I am ok with opting out, him...not so much. I believe he would have been better served staying and I also believe he should show some loyalty to the coaches and school that was patient in waiting on him to get his shit together and get in shape.
