Sound Mind Sound Body Academy is an organization which sponsors football camps throughout the country. This organization will hold six camps this June.
June 3-4: Atlanta
June 6-7: Houston
June 9-10: Detroit
June 12: Tampa
June 16-17: Los Angeles
June 23-24: Washington D.C.
As of now, LSU will participate in camps in Atlanta, Houston, Detroit and Tampa. MiIes will be a speaker at the Atlanta and Houston camps. The entire LSU staff is registered for the Atlanta and Houston camps.
By going to these camps, LSU will have no responsibility in setting them up. LSU coaches can step off the airplane and attend the camps -- no work. Obviously, a school must do all the preparation if it hosts a camp.
Presently. Mississippi State is going to the Atlanta camp; Arkansas and Texas A&M are going to the Houston camp; Kentucky and Tennessee are going to the Tampa camp.
Campers must pay for camp gear, learning materials and nutritional supplements.
Reportedly, LSU has rented out the New Orleans Saints facility for a camp. LSU contacted all of the other in-state schools to help in hosting this camp. Tulane declined the offer and is partnering with Texas A&M for camps in Louisiana and Texas.
LSU is supposedly going to also hold a camp in Shreveport.
