Update: Seems as though Jaray Jenkins has had a change of heart on his NFL decision. The veteran wideout will be staying in Baton Rouge another season, I’m hearing. He’s a high-character, leader on the team, which is just what Brian Kelly is looking for when rebuilding things.

LSU on Monday announced the hire of WRs coach Cortez Hankton, who along with Carter Sheridan, will have quite the group of WRs for the season led by Kayshon Boutte, Jaray Jenkins, Kyren Lacy, and all the young wideouts from last years class.

Excited to see what the group can do overall.

Tomorrow is the last day to declare for the NFL Draft and multiple sources have confirmed to Jimmy that receiver Jaray Jenkins has decided to forego his senior season at LSU and give the NFL a shot.

Earlier this week it was thought that he would be remaining in Baton Rouge for another year, but he's decided otherwise.
