gents, see below updated stats against Tebow, RG3, and Lamar. Keep in mind, their stats each include the subsequent bowl game.

If we win the next two games and JD has great games, I think he wins. If he loses, next time I'm in town I'll open a beer tab at that Brewery at Brightside and Burbank that I went to with Doc and a couple others. That permanent opponent tab is still 'jury out' but appears I'll owe that one as well.

I highlighted the stats that he has a legit shot to lead the NCAA at the end of the season (rushing stats for QBs)

2007 Tim Tebow
Passing: 234 for 350, 66.9%, 3,286 yards, 9.4 average, 32 TDs, 6 INTs, 172.5 rating
Rushing: 210 rushes for 895 yards, 4.3 average, 23 TDs

2011 Robert Griffin III
Passing: 291 of 402, 72.4%, 4,293 yards, 10.7 average, 37 TDs, 6 INTs, 189.5 rating
Rushing: 179 rushes for 699 yards, 3.9 average, 10 TDs

2016 Lamar Jackson
Passing: 230 of 409, 56.2%, 3,543 yards, 8.7 average, 30 TDs, 9 INTs, 148.8 rating
Rushing: 260 rushes for 1,601 yards, 6.0 average, 21 TDs

2023 Jayden Daniels (through 9 games)
Passing: 195 for 273, 71.4%, 3,164 yards, 11.6 average, 30 TDs, 4 INTs, 202.1 rating
Rushing: 114 rushes for 918 yards, 8.1 average, 8 TDs
