it appears that the long anticipated arrival of Travonte Valentine to Tiger Town is getting closer to reality .
The SEC , at LSU's request , has cleared Valentine to enroll in Baton Rouge and be immediately eligible this Fall. He needs to complete 13 hrs of course work .
He's holding offers from Miss St and Auburn but would have to sit out a year at those schools. He's eligible to play right away for LSU since they were the original school to recruit and sign him . He would have 3 years of eligibility remaining .
Listed at 345 lbs he would be the NG needed in the 3-4 scheme . Lacouture began at NG but was replaced by Godchaux , a bit undersized at 294 . If he's ready to become a starting NG it would free up Godchaux to play his more natural DE position in the 3-4 .
The way that the DL,is shaping up the depth issues of 2015 will be a thing of the past . LSU will roll out at least 8 serviceable DL to keep them all fresh.

No I haven't forgotten about Edwin Alexander listed at 333 lbs nor Caleb Roddy at 285 lbs nor Big T's brother Sione if he returns to the team .
