LSU starting power forward Craig Victor has been dismissed from the team just hours before the SEC opener against Vanderbilt. Victor had been suspended from the team for the first theee games of the regular season. Victor averaged 10.5 points and 7.6 rebounds while playing 25 minutes per game this season.

"We are obviously disappointed that we had to take this action. It's a privilege and an honor to wear the LSU uniform. When you commit to being a part of our basketball program, there are expectations and standards that we demand from our players. Those expectations go beyond the basketball court."
