--Focused on their team

--Raves about the Alabama offense. Expects Tua to play. Great WR corp. They run a 4-3 defense. Top defensive players, Lewis, Jennings and Riggs are talented.

--Michael Divinity left the team for personal reasons. Chaisson, Anthony and Thornton will play in his place. They will be fine.

--He likes Burrow, the offense. Feels the offensive line has improved. Likes where they are on the depth on the defensive line.

--The best team they have had going into this game.

--What happened in the past has nothing to do with this game.

--Tyler Shelvin is playing better this year than last. Wasn't in shape last year. Logan and Lawrence are playing well along with the backups. Very well equipped for this matchup.

--Raekwon Davis is an outstanding player for Bama. The young guys are good. "Are they as dominant as they were in the past? We're going to find out." Goes on to talk about how they have a bunch of new players out there that don't have the experience they have had in years past.

--When asked about how much ground LSU has made up on Alabama Orgeron responded with "You can tell by the rankings that it looks like we've made up some ground and we still got to beat them."

--We have tremendous leadership. Well equipped to beat these guys. It's going to be a great game.

--The most receiver talent he's seen on one field. Goes to show you the direction of the spread in the SEC. LSU can go anywhere in the country to attract top receiver talent from around the country.

--Not going to treat this game any different than the others.

--Delpit has a slight injury and will practice a little bit over the next couple of days. Will be fully ready to go on Saturday.

--Don't overhype the game. Have to win the line of scrimmage. Have to play well in every area. Tackling is going to be a premium.

--SEC Championship at stake. Having a chance to be in the playoffs is as stake and how he would describe this weekend.

--Expects Tua to play with a "sure"

--He could see a 1-loss team from this matchup gets in the playoffs. Not his decision, but thinks the loser deserves a shot.

--Joe Brady brings confidence to this game. Started working on Alabama in the spring. Brady is very good at dissecting film and identifying weaknesses. Ensminger and Brady have been in the office all week.

--When recruiting he talks about the NFL a lot. Discusses the success the LSU Tigers have, not just the numbers. The facilities are going to help in recruiting, but they have recruited well without them.

--Tua hasn't been sacked much. A lot of gap passing, max protection and crossing routes down field. Will find out how mobile Tua is.

--Been working on stopping the slant. When in man coverage it should be limited to a short gain. Going to be a chess match as they attempt to take things away from the Alabama offense.

--Proud of Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Great mentality, pride and vision. Give the O-line credit. Found some cracks in the running game against Auburn. Need to take care of the football in this matchup.

--Coaches have done a great job. Cohesive coaching staff. They discuss tempo options throughout the game.

--LSU fans will follow them to Tuscaloosa. All he hears is LSU fans when he's on the road.

--Bear was recruiting Orgeron in high school. Wanted to visit and his dad said no. Wishes it was like that today.

--He believes the trenches are improved and they have closed the gap with Bama a bit. He once again questions Alabama's ability in the trenches.

--Going to focus on a lot fo formations and tendencies in the Alabama offense. Last year Bama ran some things they weren't prepared for because they hadn't seen it before. Better equipped as a staff to make adjustments throughout the game.

--The spread offense is here to stay. The play of the QB's and ability of the skill players is different than years past. Have to score points to win.

--Glad LSU has a great QB. Burrow has it all. Tua is outstanding. Both QB's are team players. Unselfish football players that just want to win.

--Recruiting is a battle just like football. After its over its over. Wish the guys the best. He just focuses on the guys he gets.

--There's quite a bit of stuff LSU hasn't shown on defense. Aranda has a ton of different stuff. Always has some new stuff. Going to have some new stuff for this game.

--This is a new team. Alabama hasn't beat this team yet. This is a new team.

--Thinks Burrow is on the same level as Tua. One of the top 5 most important players int he program's history. He's a leader, very talented and will be a high draft choice. As good or better than Tua.

--Players don't need to play any different than they have played this year. Just need to play their best.

--Looked at personnel and special teams during the bye week. Also focused on fundamentals.
