I’m shocked right now, but should I really be? It seems this LSU team has lost the will to fight with that Bama loss. The defense is terrible and Special teams is atrocious. Offense runs the same type of predictable pee-wee style offense. Run, Run and throw it down the field on a long pass. CLM can’t make half time adjustments to save his life. That shouldn’t be a shock considering all of the terrible late game management decisions he made at LSU through the years.
CLM is a great guy even a very solid recruiter. It is time for him to move on though. He made his millions and is set for life. If CLM really loves the program he needs to walk away after this season. He is about to run the LSU program into the ground. Many Tiger fans are starting to see LSU hitting bottom. CLM is 0-5 against Saban and Bama the last 5 games. CLM is 0-2 against Ar Kansas and Bielema the last two years. That is 3rd place at best on the SEC West side. Add Ole Miss is getting better and bringing in top 5 recruiting classes.
LSU may finish 4th best in the SEC West. Wait you also have Miss State Dan Mullen who goes toe to toe with Miles and LSU. Mullen is 1-1 against CLM the last two years. CLM should be 0-2 against Mullen. Considering CLM tried his best to give this year’s game away to Miss State in the 2nd half. A&M has been bringing in solid recruiting classes and have the chief running the defense. LSU is in danger of falling from the middle of the pack of the SEC West to the bottom. And that is just the SEC West, it gets worse if you add the SEC East teams. This is DiNardo and the 90s all over again. LSU will most likely lose to Ole Piss. I’m not even sure if LSU can beat A&M at the moment.
