It's time to thank Coach Les Miles for everything he has done at L.S.U.! I really expected our team to play BETTER than what we saw and I really did expect a win. The thing that finally convinced me it's time for not just Coordinator change but also a change at the top is the undisciplined offensive play. When you have 10 penalties in just the first half of a game... At THIS time of the season and many of them made by experienced linemen... Well, THAT IS because the HC just doesn't demand it... OR at least seems incapable of fixing the problem.

I love Coach Miles not only as a human being, But also as the BEST HC this school has had for his length of tenure... But it's time for him to go. I don't know what the future holds or even if the people that makes the decisions will even let him go this season or give him one more, But at this point... I don't see us doing much better next year... And that saddens me.

Folks have accused me of having my head up Coach Miles ass... Well that is not and never has been the case. I still know that starting with bama this season... What cost us the games we lost was not all on the HC. Those games and THIS one was lost in the trenches and I can understand WHY we lost in the trenches, But I can't understand the lack of discipline and EVERY successful team has got to be disciplined.

I'm not saying that the loud consistent complainers were right all along, Because they offered nothing but whining and never gave REASONS why... Their mantra was to fire Coach Miles just because that was the easiest out for them. I've been thinking about this day for awhile and I have been re-watching taped games for the last ten years off and on this season and I'm still a Les Miles because we won a lot of games with his Shembechler(sp.) style of coaching, But it's time to move on. I sincerely hope that we fans at L.S.U. can witness the folks that do the hiring catch lightning in a bottle three times in a row. I hate to even think about going though a drought like Nebraska and Florida.

I hope the next HC at L.S.U. is young, dynamic and makes good hires with his Coordinators and gets us the very BEST Recruiters... because we are going to need them to head to head with the ones already in the SEC. That's all I've got and that's all I will say on the matter except... That if he IS gone... Then I thank Coach Les Miles for all he has done for the school I love to support!
