Time to eat some crow. I really thought we were going to handle Bama last night. But instead, we were dismantled by the team I most dispise, again. Props go out to Bama's front 7 - whom I severely underestimated. I also give a lot of credit to Bama's O line. They played their best game of the year. Bama dominated us in the trenches and you cannot win the game if you don't win those battles.
I picked LSU to go 11-1 at the begining of the season. We still have a shot at a really good season where almost all of us thought next year was our year. I'm going to try and stay positive, although it is very hard less than 24 hours after that ass kicking. It is much easier for me to be negative at this point. But in reality, it won't do any good and really won't make me feel any better. I'm going to stand behind the fine young men on this team and give them all of my support. They need to bounce back from this and focus on the rest of the season. There is still a lot to play for. There are important recruiting battles to be won. Myself, as one lone rabid LSU fan, will not stoop to those low levels and start bashing at this point. My team needs and deserves my support. If we go into a tail spin and finish the year poorly, I will be critical at that time.
