I ask this as an honest question. Some of you can probably point out why it was necessary, but why did we have to take the interim tag off of Ed on Saturday? Couldn't that have waited until after the bowl game?
If you couldn't make a quick move on Fisher or Herman what was the rush? I ultimately believe that Ed is the right choice outside of those two. My biggest concern is the OC. I believe the OC needs to cover 2 issues. 1 he needs to be an offensive guru, that is obvious, but 2 I think he needs to have some skins on the wall. I think we need some credibility there. Kiffen is the obvious choice. If we get him then great. I think we can be real good real quick. If not, who else can we get. If we can't upgrade over Ensminger then I have REAL concerns about our ability to continue to recruit at the level we do and therefore, the program will keep slipping. Why not wait until Orgereon has an acceptable OC in tow. That is unless Kiffen has told Alleva he is coming after they finish. At which point I would have pulled the trigger as well.
