because the last thing you want at Lsu is another 8-4 season and Miles keeping his job(because that is the most likely senerio next year)-and the Saints of course need top 10 draft picks not the middle of the round picks(not that we have excelled in that department recently.So do we really need a 6-6 Lsu season for a change?
This has been the most disappointing Lsu season in a long time(with all the optimism entering the Alabama game)-maybe only the end of the Dinardo era and the 73 season when we started 9-0( and lose 3 straight)-
btw that was the beginning of the end for McClendon and Miles is exactly at the same number of years in the program where Mac was in 73.
