Why do articles on the home page not get posted here immediately?

I came on here to read the chatter about the basketball (and football) allegations and don't see a single thread about it which I thought was odd. I normally only ever come to this forum but I just happened to click over to the home site and saw the article from Ron. Just a suggestion, but I would greatly appreciate it if all articles were linked here when posted. This is obviously a major story and its a little odd to me that there is no discussion on it when its been out since this afternoon.
