Cardell Hayes, the man accused of murdering former Saints player Will Smith, was indicted Thursday (April 28) on a charge of second-degree murder. A New Orleans grand jury also indicted him in the attempted murder of Smith's wife, Racquel, of aggravated criminal damage to a vehicle and on another charge of aggravated assault.
