Things have been a little chaotic behind the scenes for us of late, as a competitor went all in to pull Julie from us. It was obvious she was highly coveted by them, and I’m extremely happy that people recognize her talents, but I couldn’t let her leave without a big fight.
So, we talked our way through it and she decided to stay put and continue working for our site. I don’t like contracts for our writers, because I want them to grow and not be restricted, so she was open to leave.
Julie has been an extremely valuable asset for us, especially after the loss of Sam, along with my slew of issues since last March. I’m extremely relieved that she stayed with us, as I’m sure many of you are.
