The major flaw in this ranking system is that conference titles is one of the seven categories. Of course, Notre Dame gets a 100+ point deduction right off the bat because this category is included. So, they barely make top 10 (#9). If conference titles is removed from this system, their ranking would be #1 historically. They would edge out Alabama.
