It sounds like LSU linebacker Jabril Cox did not meet academic requirements after transferring, putting LSU's chances of signing one this cycle in real jeopardy. NCAA requires that players show up and maintain a 2.5 GPA, which is sounds like Cox didn't do. If it sticks, and he falls below the requirements, like it appears that he did, then LSU will not be able to sign a grad transfer this cycle, leaving someone like Eric Wilson on the outside looking in. This is unfortunate because LSU is in a position to land Wilson, if they were permitted to do so. Trying to get the definitive word on this situation, but it is obvious that LSU is concerned at the present time.
