i know a family where the parents both love each other more than their kids and it’s super weird to me. Let me add tho that they are very loving, well to do, educated parents who love their kids as much as any regular person. Non trashy good people who raised their kids well. But they openly care about each other more than their children. Often answering questions of mine like who would you save first, wife/husband or kids and they always pick each other.
It’s so weird to me that it makes me feel like maybe I’m the weird one who should holding his wife in higher regard. The thing is tho, I do, I just would never pick anything over my kids.
Does anyone else here love their kids but would pick their SO over them? Is that something that maybe no one here would do but you’ve noticed it before with other couples? Am I the wrong one and my wife should come first?
