Video Quick Take:

Full Report:
LSU was in full pads for the first time this spring on Saturday -- the team's fourth practice. Due to the rainy weather, the Tigers worked indoors for the third straight practice. Members of the media were allowed to watch about 15 minutes of practice.

With Kendell Beckwith unavailable due to a knee injury, Devin Voorhies moved up to the No. 1 unit as one of the inside linebackers. Voorhies moved from defensive back to linebacker last season. He has been mostly a special teams player during his time at LSU. Donnie Alexander was the other starting inside linebacker. Both Voorhies and Alexander do look the part physically. The only other scholarship inside linebackers at practice were early-enrollee Devin White and M.J. Patterson, who was moved from defensive line. The outside linebackers were the same -- Duke Riley, Michael Divinity and Corey Thompson.

Here is a quick breakdown of the other positions.

WR
Present: Tyron Johnson, Dee Anderson, Malachi Dupre, Derrick Dillon, Tony Upchurch, Russell Gage, D.J. Chark, Jazz Ferguson, Stephen Sullivan.
Absent: Travin Dural
Notes: The receivers dropped hardly any balls. The quarterbacks were very accurate with their throws. Sullivan continues to be quite impressive.

TE
Present: Colin Jeter, Foster Moreau, Jacory Washington
Absent: DeSean Smith
Notes: There is an obvious gap between Washington and the two veteran tight ends -- Jeter and Moreau.

OL
Present: K.J. Malone, WillClapp, Toby Weathersby, Chidi Okeke, George Brown, Andy Dodd, Adrian Magee. Maea Teuhema, Josh Boutte
Absent: Jevonte Domond, Ethan Pocic, Garrett Brumfield
Notes: Malone was in a gold jersey (now used for injuries) and was not going through drills. Brumfield was on the sidelines with is right foot in a boot. Boutte was working with the No. 1 unit at right guard with Brumfield out. Teuhema was working at left tackle. Okeke was getting some snaps in the drills at right tackle.

QB
Present: Brandon Harris, Justin McMillan, Danny Etling
Notes: As previously mentioned, all three quarterbacks threw the ball very accurately. Harris continues to appear to be much improved. Realize that the throwing is coming against no defensive players.

RB
Present: Derrius Guice, Leonard Fournette, Lanard Fournette, Darrel Williams, David Ducre, Bry'Keithon Mouton.
Absent: Nick Brossette, John David Moore
Notes: During the individual drills, there continues to be an emphasis on the receivers catching the football.

DL
Present: Tashawn Bower, Arden Key, Davon Godchaux, Sione Teuhema, Christian LaCouture, Lewis Neal, Isaiah Washington, Frank Herron, Deondre Clark, Greg Gilmore
Notes: Some drill work involved a four-man line. Neal lined up as both a defensive tackle and a defensive end. Right now, it appears that seven players can be considered reliable contributors -- LaCouture, Godchaux, Neal, Bower, Key, Gilmore and Herron. There is no lack of depth at this position area.

LB
See above

DB
Present: Savion Smith, Rickey Jefferson, Dwayne Thomas, Xavier Lewis, Tre'Davious White, Ed Paris, Jamal Adams
Absent: Donte Jackson, Kevin Toliver, John Battle
Notes: This group is pretty thin with three members of the rotation no available. Smith was working at safety after spending the three previous practices at cornerback. Thomas and White were the No. 1 cornerbacks.

SPECIALISTS
The specialists were not doing any work while members of the media were present.

New Texas-San Antonio head coach Frank Wilson had his entire staff observing practice.

LSU will practice next on Tuesday afternoon.
