I had hoped against hope Miles would go to Alleve before September and say he wanted this to be his last year. What can we worked out on the buyout. If he had,the transition would have been smoother for everyone including Miles. But no Miles didn't want to negotiate, Miles wanted the full ten or twelve million. As Alleve watched this teams weak performance, heprobably considered since athletic department is facing such a buyout why wait to make the change. Another plus is coaches know there is an vacancy and have ample time to show interest if so inclined.Plus LSU avoids a potential Mack Brown situation. This decision was a good decision. But for Alleve, the next decision is the most important of his career..
