- Thinks Coach Tang has done a great job constructing Kansas State's roster. They're averaging 20 assists per game and hit a lot of threes.
- Says Cam Carter had good times at K-State, so doesn't think it's a "revenge game," but still wants to win.
- Thought there were a lot of distractions for the team this weekend with the game and recruiting, and it showed in the first half. Wants to see his guys lock in this week.
- Pleased with the rim protection this far. Thinks they've allowed the ball in the paint too much, but rim protection has been pretty good.
- Pleased with the three point defense, but they're getting beat off the dribble too much. That's been a big focus for them this week.

- Jalen Reed has gained 15 pounds in muscle this offseason, which has allowed him to play stronger than in years past. Thinks he's really comfortable down in the paint now.
- Likes their momentum in recruiting with signing day coming tomorrow.
- Pleased with Noah Boyde's recovery. He's cleared for practice now, but not game action yet.
