It was around 1964, I believe, when the LSU - UF, game scheduled for Baton Rouge, was postponed for Hurricane Hilda. It turned out to be a blessing for LSU. Steve Spurrier was the UF quarterback and the Gators beat the Tigers something like 26-7. Fortunately for LSU, they had already secured a bow bid. Had the game been played as scheduled and Florida won, There would have probably been no bowl bid.
