Let's keep in mind that Nuss was minus 3 WR's, including 2 of his best 3 and we weren't playing against air out there, not by a long shot.

Ole Miss came into this game only allowing 203.8 passing yards/game and had only allowed 2 passing TD's all year. They were also leading the nation in sacks with 24 (4.0/game) and were only allowing 7.5 points per game as a team.

LSU put up 337 yards passing, 3 passing TD's and allowed 0 sacks against that defense. They scored 29 points in that win.

Nuss might not have looked like he was his best at times, but that was a hell of a defensive team LSU just played. And beat.
