I went to the Amite south Beauregard game last night. Wow. Amite has some serious talent. LSU coaches need to be camped out there for the next two years.
Ismael Sopsher is a man child.
16 yrs old 6'5" 310 soph DL run very well. Plays a little high but that can be fixed.
Devonta Lee has the best hands I've seen in HS. The Amite QB throws bullets (la tech commit) and Lee just picks them out of the air. He is very shifty after the catch. Reminds me of Percy Harvin with the ball. He is 6'2" 190 but will grow into a 6'3" 210 by his senior year.
Also I heard that senior Devonta Smith is looking hard at LSU. He is a great athlete but needs to bulk up to play in the SEC.
