So Sammy's closed its Zachary location a little while back and a few rumblings started, but just recently employee checks started bouncing, the Prairieville location closed without warning and yesterday the Highland location closed for good after 32 years.
As a frequent visitor of both locations I can tell you that they were both constantly packed. It has come out that the Highland Road location was months behind on its rent... with a business that well patronized, it just seems that something shady had to be going on and I was wondering if anybody knew the real story or had any insights at all?
