I know some smarter and more informed people than I had good reasons for rating Auburn so high to start the season. I know too that they are well coached, and will be much higher for our game than they have been for the first two.
I'm glad to know these things because otherwise after watching much of their first two games, I would be thinking that they, for some reason, just aren't a very good team this year.
On the other hand, without going into all of the reasons, I believe that this LSU team is going to be a really good one and that they could very easily have beaten a better team than Auburn by at least 16.
I therefore will not be at all surprised if we beat Auburn by a much bigger score than anyone has so far predicted so far. In fact I expect we will.
