Which is the BEST ?
Alabama ..many would give them the nod because Saban has won so much lately . But the state isn't a recruiting hotbed and while Alabama get most of the state's best recruits Auburn gets their share as well . Their facilities are top notch for sure but no better than a few other SEC schools.
Florida . Surely a recruiting hot bed but big Fla St lurks and cuts in to their recruits . If Miami can ever get their act together S Fla. will be theirs instead of Florida's .
A&M . Facilities second to none . Vast recruiting pool . But emerging Baylor and TCU plus always formidable Oklahoma and sleeping Texas challenge the Aggies for recruits
LSU . No in state challenger but the quantity of blue chippers isn't there year after year especially linemen .
Georgia .. IMO UGA get the nod as the BEST . They have the largest population base of any SEC team . Ga Tech never challenges for recruits .,the brand of ball played in Ga highschool said is as good as it gets.,
Their quantity of top recruits may be a notch below Texas and Fla. but no in state competitors exist.
All those mentioned have lots of money and great facilities . It comes down to recruiting opportunities and Georgia trumps them all.
